Huge news…

7 Aug

Well, we have huge news.

Big, big news actually.

I mean, monstrous news.

Do you think you can handle it?  Do you…I mean really?

Welllll, after over 8 years of marriage, 5 babies and numerous moves we are…

are…

BUYING OUR FIRST HOUSE!  Yeah, so you may not be as excited as we are, but we're stoked!  We've been through so much emotionally, physically and financially that we're finally able to buy our first house.  Now, yes this means that moving closer to family will have to wait a little bit, but it doesn't mean it will never happen.  I understand the disappointment that comes with a home purchase and the dreams of moving to the Tulsa area again, it just puts those dreams further out a little.  We are excited, as we should be, we worked hard to make this happen and buying is what is best for our little fam and for me too.  In our new home, I won't have to climb stairs, which is a huge plus for my ankle.  Plus we can start putting money in our pockets instead of our landlord!  We're supposed to close August, 29th, but of course that's all depending on the inspection (which is tomorrow) and the appraisal.  But we're right on track.  So, without further ado here is the info about the house.

House is a 1400+ sq ft. one story beauty. 3bd/2bath. Master with garden tub and walk in closet. Eat in kitchen and 2nd dining area. Comes with washer and dryer, stove, 2 refridgerators (one in garage) and new dishwasher. 2-car garage. New paint, new carpet and huge backyard complete with new privacy fence and shed with electricity. New roof and new a/c unit. Covered back porch. Also corner fireplace with gas logs included. Fishing pond and playground nearby and Kenna will go school in the district that which has excellent test scores and uniforms!  When we walked in the house we knew it was "the one".  Our realtor is awesome and I have to say that if you are ever looking for a home in the San Antonio area you MUST call Les Kegley at Coldwell Banker.

Hopefully during the inspection tomorrow I can take more pics that really show the house.  Especially since there are no pics of the bedrooms! LOL  But the ones above from L to R are: Living room from the entry way, kitchen, back yard and back of house and finally standing by the french doors a pic of the entry/additional dining area/kitchen.  Like I said, not the best but oh well.

I think it's a great house for us and Kenna is excited about having a new room downstairs on the opposite end of the house than us.  So, YIPEEEEE!

If you want to know what that means, you are going to have to RETURN MY CALL. I love you and I'm SOOOO proud for you. Kiss Sean and the Bebe, and tell her Auntie Bet loves her.
