Ok, so the foundation people came today and it's actually not bad! :) He took elevation readings throughout the home and exterior and was very thorough. He said the foundation had settled across one of the center grade beams (run side to side). It was not a severe movement but did need to be leveled and stabilized. They will give the bid around noon-ish tomorrow. There is also a drain leak but if there's any good news with foundation repairs is that the sellers insurance will cover the leak and possibly the foundation. Yipeeee!
Also, so we don't incur any more rent here or extra gas taking Kenna to school, the sellers are considering a pre-lease for us in which we pay for the time we're there before we close then those funds can go toward the loan! 🙂

YAY! Here's crossing my fingers that the lease thing works out!
Yeah!!! Our sellers actually leased from us for a month because we had a month on our rental agreement we were in and their house wasn't ready yet. I think stuff like that goes on all the time. I'm so happy for y'all – can't wait to come down and check out the guest room…if I'm still welcome since YOU WON'T TALK TO ME AT ALL, EVEN ON THE COMPUTER.
