My name is Melanie and I’ve recently joined the ranks of working mom. I’ve been married to the greatest guy since 2000. We met on a blind date in college,engaged on our 3 mo. anniversary and married the next year! We have one usually wonderful daughter, Kenna, who is now 10 and a miracle son, Jaylon, who was born in April 2009.
We have been pregnant 6 times now…Our first pregnancy was a miscarriage in 2000. Then Avery Michelle was stillborn. Kenna was born next after 8 wks of bedrest and terb. Then our son, Jackson William, was stillborn. We endured yet another loss, a miscarriage, in September of 2006. To finish with a bang we had Jaylon after puking for 6+ months, Gestational Diabetes and another placental abruption!
I’m not just about being mom and wife. I like to have fun and make people laugh. I also LOVE scrapbooking. My sister got me into traditional scrapbooking about 12 years ago. I have made the transition to digital scrapbooking now and do it every chance I get. Which is less often now that I have two kids, a husband, a job and a Boston Terrier. I use FotoFusion as my program and am an addict when it comes to freebies.
